My models tend to be coming out way too big when i reimport them from mudbox back to maya and when i do so my displacment maps are messed up so i found a few tutorials that helpled me understand why and its now fixed.

the probleme was that my maya was changeing back into inches, and if I wanted to change the size of my model after, I would also have to reduce the size of my displacment map using the alpha channel in the same ratio
